We are a family salon, which means we have all the services you need for every member of your family. We offer everything from hair color and extensions, to facial waxings and crew cuts. Our salon specializes in and caters to children and adults with Autism and Special Needs. Our stylists are kind, patient and loving. With the right tools, techniques and our unique skill sets, we are able to help you and/or your child through the haircut and styling process as quickly and effectively as possible.

Amy is fantastic! My son is deaf and autistic. Prior to tHairapy he would have meltdowns during haircuts. Now he looks forward to going to see Amy and staying to play with all the toys. We've been back multiple times over the last year and have always had a wonderful experience.

My son is on the spectrum and it's just a relaxing experience coming here! Amy is amazing with taking time to make sure everyone feels at home. As well as being extremely talented at what she does. She's able to cut my son's hair with ease and can work with the fact that he loves his head a lot and wants me to hug him while it's happening. Couldn't recommend them enough ☺️
Hayley is an amazing colorist!!! She's able to take what I'm envisioning and elevate it to something even more eye-catching and beautiful. So happy with her work!

Amy is the only hairstylist in San Diego capable of cutting my 7 year old son Jack's hair! He has sensory issues especially when it comes to getting his haircut. Amy puts my son at ease with a lollipop and somehow having his favorite shows on DVR for him to watch.She gives a quality haircut every time we visit and we are happy to drive down from Vista every time Jack needs his haircut.....Thanks Amy!

WE LOVE AMY! My son is 5 year old with Autism Sprectum Disorder. He has a sensory issue with anything related to his head. Zero tolerance for hair cuts. He cries, screams and will not hold still. Clean, cute salon. Awesome toy selection! So many sensory stations! Plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessible hair washing station. Every sensory object imaginable.
