Our salon specializes in and caters to children and adults with Autism and Special Needs. Our stylists are kind, patient and loving. With the right tools, techniques and our unique skill sets, we are able to help you and/or your child through the haircut and styling process as quickly and effectively as possible.

tHAIRapy Hair Salon has been a game-changer for us! Haircuts used to be grit-your-teeth-and-get-it-done screaming matches for us, now Milo doesn’t want to leave their amazing space. We have been taking our four year son here for almost a year now. He used to hate getting haircuts. He would protest and move his head resulting in hairdressers getting very nervous about accidentally cutting him. Amy is truly amazing. She is patient and cheerful and skilled at cutting hair when kids are moving their heads. She has been working with our son to make him more comfortable with haircuts. Juan did an amazing job helping my 2 1/2 year old son feel comfortable for his first ever haircut. My son is very hyper and was able to play while getting his cut. It turned out super cute, too!
We’ve been taking our son tHAIRapy hair salon for several months now. When we first started, our goal was to get him comfortable enough where he wouldn’t kick and scream in fear and frustration. Amy worked around what he wanted and we have had painless haircuts from the start. Just recently, Juan started cutting our sons hair and was brave enough to try clippers as opposed to scissors. This is a HUGE recommendation for tHAIRapy Hair Salon. I decided to walk in today on the chance we could get a haircut for my 2 yo. Amy, the owner, had an opening (miraculously) and was so good with my son. She said she books 2 weeks in advance and 6 weeks for a weekend appt. There's a huge play area for the kids so you moms can even get a haircut too without having to pay for a sitter (Amy welcomes this). She was so good with my son and earned a customer today. Today was my son's first visit here! My son was recently diagnosed with autism and can be a handful but Amy did an amazing job. She was patient and very accommodating. I felt bad because my son is pretty strong and tends to push people away as that's what he tried to do today but Amy was wonderful with handling that.
