Horrible service...steak was cold...potatoe was cold...chili tasted old..it took 63 min to get our food and it was not that busy...might not be back we had to find another waitress to refill our drinks. Sad

YUM! I had never eaten here before, but really enjoyed my visit! My steak was cooked to perfection, my salad was fresh (and CHILLED, not room temperature), my baked potato was perfect :) The rolls were fresh, hot & delicious. They even had special parking for veterans, which I loved. The staff was excellent, they actually seemed to enjoy working there, which made for a great atmosphere. I will visit again!
I have never been disappointed until today. Ordered a sweet potato loaded and boy was it "loaded". Was barely cooked and sour. Someone had to cut it open in order to put the toppings and didn't notice? Called to speak to the manager and I wasn't looking for a free meal but would have been nice for him to offer to replace the potato. Quality has definitely slipped!
Service was slow. We got our salads after 40 minutes and then had to wait another 10 to get silverware. Spent over an hour at the table, mostly waiting and not being waited on...and the restaurant was not busy. Too many servers on break hanging out at the tables near the restrooms with apparently no one covering their stations. Appetizer was delivered with the entrees, even after specifying we wanted it first. Food was OK. Won't be back.
My husband and I have been regulars here for several years and lately we have been extremely disappointed in how this franchise and their lack of support to their employees and their customers. Shame on Texas Road House for not resolving the broken AC! It's been 3 weeks and it is still not fixed! To top off the evening , the waiter told us they ran out of white wine! REALLY? OMG!
