Well that was awful. Can't believe we just paid money for that meal. Get your act together Texas Roadhouse Avon.
RecommendedProbably my favorite place to eat. But last time I was in there, I ordered the 8 oz. Sirloin for the 6 oz. price. (Wednesday Special) Subtotal was $10.99 which I thought should have been $9.99. Waitress said their prices recently went up. They did. I looked at the menu and the 6 oz. is $10.49 not $10.99. Now 50 cents isn't that big of a deal, but thought about it later and say if 100 customers are overcharged every Wednesday for the Wed. Special, that's a decent chunk of change. Hope they look into this...
I hate to say this but this restaurant has gone down hill. The last few times the service has really declined. Our most recent visit was terrible at best. The food was not the same quality we are used to and the service was bad last time and even worse this time. We spoke to the manager and she was not interested in our comments or problems. Worst experience I ever had at a Texas Roadhouse!! A cockroach ran across my mother's plate. We all three order the 10oz Ribeye. My mom's boyfriend was done with his food but we wasn't even halfway done eating! Our check was paid for from a friend of mine that I seen there. We asked for her to be paid back the money she paid but since it was already paid out the manager gave her a free appetizer. Like we plan on coming back! So disappointed on how it was handled. The only plus side was our waitress was really nice.
Amazing food & great service!
We have always had a great experience dining there. The food is excellent. The steaks are cooked to perfection. The baked potato is light and fluffy The service is very good. We went at the busiest time with a large group and only waited about 15 minutes with call ahead seating. Love that place!
