Staff wasn't bad, morale low due to overcrowded conditions and no way to provide service. Wouldn't discharge me and give me a scrip to tide me over til tomorrows procedure..... piss poor. Nurses said it has been this way for one week. So why wasn't this info given to me earlier in the day.
My sister came in for a scheduled surgery... what was supposed to take 2 hrs with 1 hr recovery took 8 hrs before we got to see her and get in a room. Her nurses have gone above and beyond to make sure she is comfortable and we have what we need... The appearance of the room is left to be desired...we found trash in it and a dirty dish plus it could really use a new paint job... as for the sleeper, obviously the person who designed it has never had to sleep in it!
Yesterday I took my grandmother into this hospital which yes was extremely busy but the help that we got was AWFUL! My grandmother has a toe that is infected, mind u she has diabetes so she requires much more attention because something so small like this can end up being a huge problem. They did x-rays, blood work, told her that her toe had a infection, keep it elevated and gave her prescriptions for some antibiotics and pain medicine. My father has been there several days almost everyday we've had someone there in shifts because if we weren't on the staff things did not get done! Durning a shift change with our family there was a two hour gap no-one was there, we walked into the bed not only urinated but he had pulled his iv out and blood was all over the bed. Then today no-one could get more time off so he was alone from 7am to 5pm and we walk into a bathroom floor with urine and feces all over the toilet and floor! No compassion worst hospital ever! Every experience has been terrible wouldn't send my worst enemy to this place.
Y'all suck! I come in with a ear bleeding internally and clearly every single person in here was more important as I'm the only one who hasn't been seen yet! Bs! Get it together!
