We spend a lot of time at TCH. Our medically complex baby has had multiple surgeries, ER visits, admissions and follow up appointments in the last 18 months. I tell everyone about how great TCH is. Most recently we were admitted on Christmas Eve. The hospital was so great about making the holiday feel special, and the surgeons helped to get us home for Christmas. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
Wonderful hospital they love us all like family and they are helping keep my baby cancer free.

Had to take my 3 yr old on Saturday, 11/25, at about 1am due to an ear ache, the waiting area was packed with people that said they’d been there since about 9 pm and still hadn’t been seen. They said the wait time was 8-9 hrs just to see a Dr. After about an hour they gave my daughter some Tylenol and said to keep waiting. At about 4am my baby said her ear felt a little better and we ended up just going home. Horrible experience. $8 for parking and a little Tylenol.

Family advocacy are just employees of Texas Children's Hospital. They are a form of customer service, except instead of doing the right thing, they have the Hospitals and Doctors interest at heart instead of the patients. Even when second and third opinions from other doctors prove TCH doctors wrong.
BUYER BEWARE!!! TCH bills EVERYTHING, even standard office visits as hospital services WITHOUT notification of its billing practices. I will NEVER AGAIN use Texas Children's Hospital for anything. I took my daughter to a regular physician's appointment and afterwards was billed as if I had taken her to the hospital. I would NEVER have consented to treatment if I had known the doctor's visit would be billed as a hospital visit. It was patently dishonest of Texas Children's not to be upfront prior to treatment about their bill... read more
Amazing Staff all the way around we are blessed beyond word
What a wonderful, caring place to be if one has to be sick. Very attentive. All the staff goes out of their way to take care of the whole family and treat them like one of their own. I can not tell you how much this means to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
