My 6 year old son broke his arm in 3 places on Saturday March 31st. He was immediately taken to Altus ER in Lake Jackson where he was XRayed and diagnosed within the hour. Due to the severity of it, we were told he was being transported by ambulance to Texas Children’s Hospital because they have the best pediatric orthopedic doctors among many others! Once we were told we were being transferred, we were loaded up and headed an hour north to TCH in no time! Me as a mom, I terr...Continue Reading

My son has been going there for years for vision problems. The doctors and support staff are absolutely wonderful! I am on a cane and one of the receptionists got up and offered to help me walk into the exam room with my son. That is exceptional service!! *****

We have always taking our children to TCH physicians. Recently, my new born had a VSD and required a surgery to repair. We trusted the CV team whole heatedly (no pun intended) in guiding us with our little heart warrior. It was extremely hard us for to see what she had to go through, but she was in the best hands. I am extremely grateful for care and compassion shown. Most importantly, the CV team helped improve the quality of life for my little girl.

We’ve had the best care from the oncology team at Texas Children’s Hospital. Grateful we were able to bring our teenage son here for diagnosis and treatment.

My son is a cardiology patient with TCH and we’ve had great experiences coming here, but yesterday was terrible. I took my 2 yr old yesterday 3/6/18 because I suspected he had a UTI, When we got to the bed and we’re being questioned in the emergency center the nurse was talking down on me and asked me why is this an emergency? Ummm because the doctors office doesn’t do a cath to test urine, even Dr. Weingarten had said that. His test came back negative for it and they said he had a stomach virus because his gut sounded bubbl... read more

This is the second time I have put my daughters life on the line and allowed her to be admitted under these conditions. The hospital is already a dangerous place for kids with Cystic Fibrosis. They are automatically put in isolation due to cross infection from bacteria that can spread from one patient to the next. Most of the deadliest bacteria can live for weeks or even months on hard surfaces. Since CF kids have thick mucus they are also susceptible to mold and it can grow in their lungs as well. Bacterial growth is the nu... read more
