Sadly this was our 3rd time here with my 2 and a half month old but the reason we came back here is because of our past experiences here. At 3 weeks old he needed major surgery then at the beginning of August we came back because he was I'll and recently we came back because he had trouble breathing came in September 2, 2017 and was discharged September 5, 2017 and shout out to all the nurses and doctors and Tech's and anybody that worked on floor 14. The best hospital ever! The people there is amazing! We were practically living at tch for more than a year during our sons cancer treatment and people there bacame family... we are more than thankful with Texas children's always!

I absolutely love the staff at the hospital and clinics. Every doctor, nurse and staff person we have come across has been kind and helpful. My son recently had surgery and was due for a post-op appointment last week during all the flooding from the hurricane. The on-call doctor was wonderful in calming my nerves about it being safe to wait. And my son's doctor personally called me to let me know that he was working on rescheduling my son's appointment ASAP. This is hands down the best children's hospital in the state.
This is an exceptional hospital. The hospital, as well as the staff members are just absolutely amazing. At the age of 6months, my first born was sent here by his Pediatrician due to the yellowing of his eyes. I was extremely scared because I lived 3+ hours away, knew nothing about the hospital, & had no idea what was about to go on with my baby. I work in the food and nutrition dept... we were here for 5 days. Working late, starting early. I want to give a huge KUDOS to all the staff and management working under the contractor Morrison/Compass. We were away from our families to make sure the children, women, and staff could have hot meals.
They take such great care of my daughter. All the nurses, doctors, and other staff had been great.
