I can’t say enough good things about the hospitality at TCH. I got to the elevators today and there were tons of people waiting to get on....the majority were staff and they all backed up and said “patients first” and let my son and I get on the first one open. I walked into the cafeteria with my hands full carrying a diaper bag, a lunch tray and pushing a stroller....a staff member on her lunch break jumped up from her table to come help me carry my things. It good hospital and good services
Texas childrens is supposed to be a hospital that takes care of children.WRONG!!
Emma Rose was featured by ABC 13 news as needing to transfer from Mexico to Texas Children’s Hospital. 11 days on and Emma Rose is still in hospital. TCH are slowly working to diagnose Emma Rose conditions but still we wait for her release. TCH lack of housekeeping, questionable hygiene practices continue to raise concerns, patients advocate has visited almost as many times as the doctors and TCH continue to hide behind bureaucratic rules and would sooner inflict unnecessary pain to the infant. Stop risking the lives of black children they deserve your due diligence. A consistent temp of 104 needs further investigation especially on an infant!!! The second visit and you’re discharging her... why?!?!
A baby, barely 1 years old, is sent home and denied re-admittance with a 104 degree fever!!! It appears this is not the first time this has happened either. This is how you treat black children? Many of these most recent reviews are 1-2 stars. Very telling of the type of service that is provided here.
Took my 19month old to oaks Bend hospital with his eye stent stickong out his eye. The doctor came and told me he has never seen or took care of one so he has to transfer us to Texas children's medical center but he is going to call to confirm that a doctor is there to take care of my son, i stood there and explain to him as he explained to the doctors what was going on they said they have ophthalmologist at the hospital to take care of my baby once we got there, we waited ...Continue Reading
