I was transferred to Texas Childrens. I live in California and at 20 weeks my son was diagnosed with Spina Bifida Not knowing much about this diagnosis my doctor here at Stanford let us know about an in utero surgery but that it was only done at Texas Childrens. I flew over to Texas got my surgery done and stayed in the hospital until my child was born. Te was almost 5 months of going in and out of the hospital.
