I'd give ten stars if I could. We called South Texas home for many years and the food here is the real deal. Perfectly smoked brisket. Awesome sides. And the banana pudding in a jar may be the best banana pudding of all time. With the ambiance and the music in the background and the smell of the smokehouse, we felt like we were back in San Antonio, and the owner and staff were as nice as the food was good. Do yourself a favor and go on by....

We have been eating here since they opened. It's by far the best smoked BBQ in Dayton. The staff is extremely friendly and the food consistently amazing. The Sunday Brunch is also worth the trip downtown. They are open Thursday through Sunday, go try them out, you won't regret it. P.S. They now serve beer too!!

This was my first time there the brisket and pork was the best I've had around the Dayton area.The sides were awesome also.it's worth the 20-30 min drive I'll be going back to try the ribs.I was slightly disappointed that I couldn't buy the ribs or sausage but I'll be back.

Easily the best BBQ in Dayton! Killer beef and pork ribs, and the sides are a cut above your usual BBQ joint sides. Can't wait to go back.
