This was an after surgery follow up—Dr Tewes showed concern for any lingering discomfort with knowledgeable explanations. And encouragement for the future!

I have always appreciated his through explanation of the cause of discomfort and his candid analysis and presentation of the options for treatment. Dr. Tewes performed arthroscopic surgery and meniscus repair on both of my knees several years apart. He is extremely competent and straight forward about surgery options and recovery. Dr. Tewes has a pleasant disposition, and I would highly recommend him to others who have knee pain and are exploring their options. I have been able to stay active and resume the activities I enjoy pain free after surgery and physical therapy.
After Dr. Tewes working on multiple family members, I wasn’t going to mess around when it came to my knee. I went straight to him and he was able to diagnose and offer treatment advice right away.
He seems to really be concerned about his patience.
