I have been a current patient of Dr. Tewes’ for close to 15 years. Today I saw him for a follow up of a total recent knee replacement. Dr. Tewes has always been kind and caring and genuinely cares about my situation. I was scheduled for a Cortizone shot in my nonsurgical knee next week and he was kind enough to save me an extra trip and administered the shot during this visit. I highly recommend him.

Dr Tewes listened carefully, thoughtfully confirmed that he understood my complaints, thoroughly explained my condition, and what could be done to treat it & how that would be done. His demeanor is very reassuring which prevents the interaction from feeling rushed.
Have always felt satisfied with visits from Dr Tewes and his PA and nurse practitioner. Very caring, takes time for explanations.
Dr Tewes is friendly and thorough. I appreciate his preop protocol as I had no complications and was very happy with the results of my knee replacements
It is not often that you have a doc enter the room, take the time to evaluate and ask questions, then give you a thorough selection of options to consider. That’s healthcare the way it’s supposed to be. Such a great visit and can’t wait to get moving on treatments.
Caring and professional
This was my fifth surgery with Dr. Tewes. I greatly appreciate his calm and soft spoken demeanor. He is thorough and professional. I also really appreciated the surgical staff- they were all so friendly, thoughtful and kind!
