I just left my first visit with Dr. Engelberg and I couldn’t be happier. She took her time with my appointment and answered and questions that I had. She was lovely! Her office staff was delightful too! Unfortunately, I’m moving back East soon so this will be probably my last appointment. Wish I found her sooner!
She listens and really gets to the issue. Very easy manner and is calming. You leave feeling good.
We like her a lot! She is my mom's post-stroke neurologist. She cares about her patients and really takes the time to follow up and communicate with other doctors and the patient. She has also remained open for visits through the shutdown (with appropriate social distancing measures, of course), so there hasn't been a gap in my mom's care, which we really appreciate. Front desk staff is great too.
Poor service from doctor and fro t desk staff
Dr. Teri Engelberg saw me after my release from Acute Rehab after a debilitating TBI. Although my symptoms were not "book" form and other neurologists wrote me off, Dr. Engelberg evaluated me, listened to the whole history and addressed the issues at hand. I am now getting cognitive therapy and on my way to full recovery! Also, her staff is AMAZING and welcoming the day of the visit and via phone call as follow-up is needed. I recommend Dr. Engelberg and her staff to anyone who has a difficult brain injury!
Hi Everyone, Yes, I would recommend her! She is the best... and I am a Registered Nurse. A lot of physicians JUST work out of their own "box" without really listening and understanding their patients. Dr. Engelberg responds out of the "box" to really help with what patients need. She is not afraid to see something new or old to help others. She holds true to her word.
Dr. Engelberg gives the patient supports by listening and understanding the needs of her patients. I am a registered nurse and I will continue to see her because she cares about each patient, including me!! A lot of physicians have their routines in a "box", she steps out of the box and goes the extra mile. Great professional!!
Dr. Engelberg and her entire team are outstanding. Not only has she worked in tandem for my personal care with my physician, but she has gone above and beyond in her standard of care for me. She is the third Neurologist that I have seen, due to medical substandard of care of other physicians and she has more than adequately done her job. She is thorough, diligent and a wonderful Neurologist who is highly skilled. Her staff are superb and insightful. They are a well rounded, excellent team.
Dr. Engelberg’s office staff is solely the reason I would not consider taking her on as a physician. Her manager’s office is near to wait room and you are subjected to hearing her argue continually on the phone with patients, expressing frustration to the other office staff and dealing personally with every patient on a level of inappropriate rudeness and impatience. It’s not a comfortable environment. Her level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable to listen to.
