I am extremely disappointed. I went and had a Pap smear done which for 35 years I’ve been having done free via my insurance as preventive health care. I went to their office and had a Pap smear done for the first time and got a bill for $70. When I called them up and I told them that my Pap smears are supposed to be paid for in full they said well they didn’t code it as a Pap smear they coded it as a screening because this was the first time I have seen this particular person. Great Doctor. The issue is have is with the staff. Was put on medication in Dec. That requires kidney monitoring. Went for appointment that was scheduled February 20 only to find out they no longer take my insurance starting in January. To my surprise. You would think the office staff would have contacted me so I could make other arrangements. They didn't take care of me or doctor Marquez. Just beware. Find another doctor’s office! They never answer the phone, and the mailbox is always full so you can’t leave a message. I have called several times regarding a prescription and when they do answer, and transfer the call to the nurses, they will answer the phone and then hang up immediately (you can hear them pick it up and put it down). There I was able to leave a message, where I asked for information about changing the dosage my medication. I did not receive a call back, only a very unhelpful message via their patient port... read more
