What happened to the teamsters? I am a driver and our government and companies treat us like crap but the union does nothing. Wish I could be a member of the old union like in F.I.S.T.

I'm having a issue with my union I work for ACME markets 26yrs UFCW local 1776 is my union in Pa. I had a incident with 2 coupons I used on my own order not knowing my mistake I was suspended with termination my union wants me to sign resignation papers instead of defending me. My father was a teamster with a trucking outfit he knew Hoffa. Anyway I payed into them for 26yrs never had a problem they want me to walk. My children are saying Why Mommy now What are we gonna do? ???!!!!!
