Ups contract is in negotiations and our teamster rep makes an appearance and says in front of management and hourly that we have to think about the company! We all know the Union is in the company’s back pocket but could you at least pretend your working for the members and not the corporations.
Nothing but leeches,only raise I've seen 5yrs in this job is the union fees,they don't do nothing to help,protect or fight,only time we see anyone from the union is when they need to renew the contract, bunch of liars and thieves, the V.P only solution is SouthWest is hiring,which i hear isn't any better, time for us to get rid of them.

the union overall is my favorite charity. local 89 is the worst.
It could be better. Believe that this union may do more givebacks than in 2013 cutting more weak deals with UPS. All the people that got the pink slip from the negotiating committee because they were informing the members about the contract talks when it's their right to know.
There not defending there workers anymore. Everyone I talk to in the trades say concrete teamsters are getting paid off by the companies

I was in Local 317 in Syracuse, New York. Local 137 in Marysville, California And now Local 601 in Yuba City, California and they have done an outstanding job fighting for me!
