RecommendedComing from the south where i was forced to work for lower rates and also didn't recognize that there was an "option B" now as a partner to someone thats work ed for the local Union for over 15 yrs i am probably one of the few ppl that really sees first hand how important it is to have a group of ppl instead of judt one person to say no "pay me what im worth not what u can get away with paying !!"
Have the same problem over here at local 1035 all they care about is their dues and don't care about the people there representing we just got hosed on our new contract we don't even get paid for travel anymore we only get paid for actual site time which is a direct violation of our state laws and our local is siding with the company when our last contract we got paid travel..
I'm a proud member of the Local 670. Union strong the only way to be.

Personally im disgusted with the entire handling of our pension plan..while Jimmy Hoffa makes millions upon millions here were sit in total uncertantly waiting to see if and when our cuts will start and the amounts taken away..this is sickening waiting till our wonderful trustees decide when they'll let us know what's happening...insane..thanks you thieves and liard
