I searched for a mechanic on my local neiborhood FB page and saw TD Automotive mentioned. I had a headlight issue that took them no time to solve. We're talking a few minutes. He, Dave the D in TD Automotive, wouldn't take any money from me. He said he couldn't take money in good conscience. I went back again the next day because I thought the issue wasn't solved but it was my user error. Been here a lot of times but I had to write a review because I live out of town and almost want to wait until I come to the beach to get my car worked in. Always great service and reasonable prices. Call early to make your appointment, everyone local knows about this place.
While on vacation at Holden Beach we had a vehicle mishap that could have caused problems. As we were almost 1,000 miles from home we felt it best to have someone look over it just out of caution. TD Automotive got us in the next day, looked it over and confirmed everything was good to go. It’s tough to try and find a trustworthy mechanic when out of town, however, I had a great and welcoming experience with TD Automative.
My girlfriend and I were stranded, and TD Automotive made sure we were a priority and even offered us a ride when Uber and Lyft were not available in the area, so I really appreciate what they did and would definitely recommend them to others.
