Hello I have purchased the defense through turbo tax like many others and I was audited for one of my tax returns. I sent tax audit defense all of my receipts with the understanding that they would organize everything with the internet to defend my case. Come to find out they just sent everything I sent them in rough draft format. Dealing with an IRS review, especially the first time in my over 60 years of filing 1040's is a daunting experience. I am very please that Turbo Tax offers this option.
They were there every step of the way. My representative was very reassuring and explained what things meant, the steps of the process, and made me feel less worried. She communicated with me promptly throughout the process and followed up with the *** constantly. She represented me professionally, clearly, and guided me through it. All was resolved with no issues. I could have not done it without TaxAudit's help. I was so relieved that I had them in my corner. Well worth the cost.

The individual representing us missed all the deadlines to submit responses or respond (at all on our behalf) to the **** They kept telling us it's no big deal and not to worry. Now our account went into collections and still not getting the assistance I expected from this service. Taxaudit is a scam!
Unfortunately I think this service only provides a false sense of security. I found out the hard way the this "service" really does nothing more for you than you can do yourself and often, you could do better. I received my original audit paperwork in January 2021 and started my case with TaxAudit. I spent several days getting everything prepared and scanned all documents and forwarded them in February.
