BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT!!! I received an IRS Audit Notice in Sept 2019 with an estimated tax bill for my 2017 tax return, the year my wife of 32 yrs had passed away. The IRS claimed I owed more than $10K in back taxes and interest, plus an additional "substantial tax underestimation penalty" of nearly $2K. Needless to say I was mortified and scared!!! I was so scared when I received my audit notice but once I spoke with Alan my assigned Audit representative I understood the plan, my action items and next steps. Within a month I provided all documents, Alan went to the appointment and I even was granted an additional refund! It was amazing! I can’t wait for the IRS to audit me again :)

A total ripoff. DONT BUY IT! I bought the taxaudit.com service from an incentivized link from my turbotax account. I assumed taxaudit was as stalwart and reputable as turbotax, but I was wrong and I was totally ripped off. I received my audit notice, and didn't respond to it for a matter of months because of fact checking and documentation. Qhen I contacted taxaudit, they responded within 2 hours to say, "You were supposed to call us within 2 weeks and you didn't, so we are denying your assistance." The timelines and deadlines we use are set in accordance with the IRS regulations and to give our members the best outcome possible. Our membership agreement states that we need to be notified within 15 days of the date of the notice. While this is our agreement, we do all we can to help our members even if it is outside of this timeframe. Once an audit has reached a certain status with the IRS they will no longer accept a response, so we are not able to step in to help. Solved my issues with the IRS. Without them the IRS would have taken advantage without mercey even if they were in the wrong. They just don't care. TaxAudit stood by me and after all was said and done got me a refund. I appreciate Every thing they do and stand for.
