Not at all worth it – My department had lunch reservations at Tavola Rossa to welcome new members to the team a few weeks ago and what was meant to be a pleasant lunch became ridiculous. We had reservations for 14 people, and when we arrived we had to wait for 10 minutes to get the tables set up. There was no one else in the restaurant, and this should have been done prior to our arrival. The service was slow and our waitress seemed very disinterested in taking our orders. Avoid at all costs – I went there a while ago, and the food was average, the service was ok, but overall i was not very happy. I also had the unfortunate experience of meeting the owner. He was a very unkind man, and did not take into effect anything that was being said. I had to hunt down my waitress multiple times just to get service, and when I was finally helped it was given to me with an attitude. I would recommend this place to no one, the ownership is awful and really does not know how to help anyone.
No Excuse for Cold Food – I went to this restaurant on Mother's Day, May 11, 2008 and was very unhappy with my experience. First of all the food was cold. It was the worst food I have ever tried to eat. I did not complain because I was with my family and I did not want to make anyone feel bad for choosing this restaurant. Tavola Rossa DOES NOT GET IT!! – I went to Tavola Rossa when it first opened with a group of women. The service was terrible and they were OUTof several of the pizzas/entrees my group tried to order. Delilcious food, great service – I took my father to Tavola Rossa today for his birthday lunch. I arrived a little early and was greeted courteously. While I waited for my dad I was offered something to drink. We were seated promptly and our server was very nice. The bread and sauce they serve while you wait is delicious. Bad neighbor = bad restaurant – I recently moved into one of the apartments around the corner from Tavola Rossa, so my boyfriend and I were excited to try it out. Great food and warm atmosphere! – We have been going to Tavola Rossa as often as possible since discovering it about a year ago. The service, food, beverages, and decor are all excellent! An absolute gem of great food, great service and great uptown jazz! – I had the opportunity recently to dine again at Tavola Rossa. If it were a bar only it would certainly be "Cheers". Perfect Wedding Rehersal Dinner – Tavola Rossa provided the perfect evening for our wedding rehersal dinner. We had about 25 guests on the outdoor patio. The staff reserved a section of the patio and guarenteed us a location inside in case of poor weather. The food was fantastic.
