We initially wanted to sit outside but the rest of my party was to hot so we sat inside. It was very loud and service was slow. However, the food was awesome once we got it. The assorted danish plate was amazing along with the burger and homemade chips. I would definitely recommend sitting outside though due to the noise. As far as the slow service, not sure what was going on so I would recommended a cocktail or 2 and the assorted danishes as you wait.
Beautiful restaurant. Staff there are a little overwhelming especially if your a slow eater like I am, waiter and help constantly asking me if I was done with my food.

Excellent service. I recommend this restaurant 5 stars. There were 12 in our group and they got us served in no time. Food, drinks, location and ambiance were superb. Keep up the good work
The crab cocktail appetizer was the best I have ever had! :) I was at the bar garden by myself and my server was awesome! She was attentive and took great care of me!
Brunch was excellent and the service was superb! Loved the atmosphere and the entertainment! Cannot wait to go back and experience the Green again!

Always Amazing! The food, the atmosphere, the staff. Tavern on the Green is a dining experience like no other! If you are in the NYC area do yourself a favor and make a reservation! My favorites: Figs with Goat Cheese, Scottish Salmon, and the Crème Brule!
