My first time at tavern on the green and Central Park. It was My daughters sweet sixteen and decided to take my daughter and four friends for dinner. The hostesses were all helpful , kind and lovely. Even when we're leaving two of our girls had blisters in the feet, I asked your hostesses if they might have bandades and they took the time to bring two of them . I loved the atmosphere, ambiance and the music, the wine list was nice. Of course everything is marked up because of where youre eating and location. I wish the food matched. The steak tartar was served in a dish that made it look like wet Cat food unfortunately and it was served with cold slices of what was grilled bread. Staff was quick to remove it and take it off the bill thankfully. They replaced it with Caesar salad but never offered freah cracked pepper. Everything was absolutely wonderful, borderline magical. I have always wanted to go and my husband and I were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary, Angela was superb and our food was everything you hope for. I am looking forward to our next visit, there will be many to come. ❤️
I absolutely love the The outdoor patio, nice food and music during the summer months.
