It'd just a short, romantic stroll to Taughannock Falls State Park, featuring the tallest waterfall east of the Rockies. The hotel offers a wide selection of beautifully appointed rooms in the Main Inn, as well as three adjacent lakeside guest houses. We also offer a pet friendly option, and hiking trails just steps away. The restaurant is closed for the season, excepting a few special occasions and Holiday Events (see the Facebook page) but will reopen for Easter Dinner.

We had such a wonderful getaway at the Inn at Taughannock Falls! There were so many things we loved! Here are a few: The beauty of the building and how its been lovingly restored! The staff and the owner! They love the Inn and it shows! They treated us so kindly! The views! Breakfast! The antiques! The pillows!!!! The property! The Inn at Taughannock excels in comfort and service. The location offers spectacular views of Lake Cayuga and easy access to so many beautiful hiking trails for all levels.
Warm caring team from the front door to the supervising managers and cleaning staff. Everyone has a work ethic of going above and beyond to create an enjoyable experience. The Legrand suite is amazing for family or friend reunions. Multiple sleeping suites with a common living area and kitchen make this the perfect getaway or a group. Wonderful return to a great memory from my youth. Happy to celebrate my mom’s 65th birthday here. We will be back even for regular occasions. Perfect all around atmosphere. And the food. Oh the food!!! Delish!
What a beautiful gem! We enjoyed every minute spent at the Inn. The staff was attentive, our room was immaculate and spacious and the bed could use a review all of its own because it was literally like sleeping on a cloud. While noticing the extensive details in all that matters with a property of this size it’s easy to see that it’s a labor of love from the owner and a commitment to excellent hospitality from his team.
chef Todd kegresse and staff served a world class meal. we had scallops and lamb.. both were awesome.. service was right on point. our room was great with a nice view and beds were comfortable and clean.
