I was a new patient. Called at 9AM for an appointment for painful ingrown toenail. Scheduled me for 2PM that same day, (which is almost unheard of these days). Arrived early 1:30PM to fill out paperwork. Was called into exam room at 1:50PM. Was attended to right then. Dr. Wellens numbed my toe and returned shortly to extract the toenail. Very pleased with the service and care.
I can't say enough good about Dr. Wellens and her staff! She cares for you like she is caring for family! I went to see her the first part of December 2017 and she knew that I needed surgery, she made me as comfortable as could be till the first of the year to help save me a 1500 dollar copay..plus. then the surgery went well with no issues...another plus. An issue came up with my foot and she and her staff has been taking care of that now.
Everyone was great very professional and helpful.
Dr Wellens performed a right Hallux McBride bunionectomy and second toe hammertoe correction with an implant application. She did a wonderful job and I am quite pleased with the results. Will followup with PT and continue with the laser treatments. I would highly recommend her freely.
Dr. Wellens has been most helpful with my, much needed, feet concerns. I am most grateful for her ability to help me be able to walk so much more comfortably, with so much ease. I am so glad that I was able to use her services, and both she and her staff have been most friendly and helpful. Without her help, I was unable to even walk normally, and was always in much pain. Now I have no pain, and walk anywhere, anytime, with such comfort. I have, and will always recommend Dr. Wellens.
Dr. Wellen and her staff are very professional and polite. They also are very personable and addressed all my questions and concerns. They made me feel comfortable and at home. I would gladly recommend the Central Florida Foot and Ankle Clinic.
