Dr. Wellens stays up to date on the latest techniques and technology. She and her staff are very pleasant and are always helpful and informative. The 3D CT machine they use in office is also very neat and showed in detail my peroneal tendon tear. I am very grateful to have a great doctor to keep me on my feet.
Dr Wellens is an amazing Doctor. Truly cares about her patients, and goes the extra mile to ensure those she treats receive all options for treatment possible. While treating me for a foot issue, she was able run test and diagnose me with Lime Disease when other Doctors said my hurting joints were old age. She's an exceptional Doctor, and one I'd highly recommend.
‘I have I neuropathy from 2 rounds of chemo. I’ve seen Dr Wellen’s twice. She seemed to rush me before 2 different procedures. - a punch biopsy for small fiber neuropathy and injections of medial posterior inferior tibial nerve. She said it can reverse neoropathy. She and also convinced me to by $60 vitamin B capsules and $20 ointment Got $20. She also wants me to get orthodontics for $409-$500+. Dr. Wellens is exceptional. She is professional, exceptionally knowledgeable and uses the latest and most innovative treatments. I went to her clinic in extreme pain with my feet that was becoming unbearable and difficult to walk. She diagnosed it in minutes and recommended a new non-steroidal treatment which worked. As a yoga and a fitness instructor I need my feet and I'm so relieved.
Dr Wellens was fine, however the office staff are idiots. They made me pay the full amount $321 for a visit even though they are a participating provider for United healthcare instead of the $25 I always pay. They told me they won’t refund the overpayment until all payments have been received. Well it has been 6 weeks and all payments from United healthcare have been cashed and Courtney and Rachael in the business office are avoiding taking my calls. Avoid this practice',
Dr. Wellens is the best. I had to have tumors removed from my foot. I had no pain after the surgery and up and walking in 5 weeks. I would recommend Dr. Wellens to everyone I know. She is extremely dedicated to her patients.
Dr. Wellens has treated me for plantar fasciitis on both feet. I really like that she tries all options from the easiest to the most involved procedure. Dr.Wellens takes time to explain why problems are occurring and offers other things like exercises and footwear to improve your condition. I think the staff has been very accommodating for scheduling and answering questions.
The staff in this office are simply amazing. They take the time to explain everything in detail. I came to see Dr Wellens for pain in my foot. She took the time to explain was causing the pain and gave me different options. My foot has never felt better. Thank you so much to Dr. Wellens and her staff!
Had surgery on both feet 2 years ago was told prior to surgery that my condition couldn't get worse. So I tried her surgery after which my condition got a lot worse. I did therapy for a while and followed up with her and she was flippant and blamed the therapy people Still I'm in pain all the time and much worse off than prior to surgery I am really upset about the whole ordeal. Now I fly to NYC and I'm getting care at the HSS
