Her staff is not friendly at all. She is a nice podiatrist but she always recommended treatments that were very expensive and they refused to submit the bill to my insurance. I ended up spending over $800 out pocket for treatments that failed. She hardly spent time with me and after being there for 5 minutes just using her “magic microscope” tool thingy she rushed out. Sometimes she was literally already in the hallway while I was still trying to have her answer my questions. I do not recommend this podiatrist.
I’ve been nothing but happy with my experience with Dr Wellens, she takes her time and explains everything the why, what and when of everything. The office staff Crystal especially are amazing and so personably. The care isn’t cheap, however you get the best of quality care with the best Doctor and staff! I’m so grateful for the care I’m receiving.

Procedure was quick, next day I was back to painless movement
Paid $85 for less than 10 minutes of toenail clipping. Wow! $500.00 per hour! And and then there was another $170. 00 for items not covered by insurance. No thank you.
Excellent - listens and explains, offers options to heal faster and avoid surgery. The staff are wonderful as well. I highly highly recommend.
Dr. Wellens saved me I’m back with only walking with a cane instead of a walker. I don’t have pain in that leg like I used to have it was like that for 5 years. Now we are working on my other leg. I will be even better soon. Thank you.
Dr Wellens did an amazing job with the surgery on my foot. She explained the entire process to my satisfaction. The follow up has been good also. Her nurse, Crystal is exceptional also. I highly recommend them without reservation.
Dr. Wellens, nurse Crystal, and staff are the best. My husband suffered with foot pain for over 10 years. Broke it and never healed correctly. Wish we discovered Dr. Wellens all those years ago. He finally can walk pain free with no crutches, no boot, and best of all no more steroids. Thank you!
