Dr. Wellens did a fantastic job with me. I was referred to her from an excellent podiatrist. I was in desperate need of help. She had a solution within the first visit. I had to have surgery to remove bone spurs on my Achilles tendon. The surgery typically leaves you off your feet for almost 3 months. Dr. Wellens was very thorough and evaluated what my needs were. She choose the best option for me. She’s an excellent surgeon and very caring. Since I live a long ways away, I was usually early for my appointments. We left early to make sure we didn’t have problems with traffic. Every time, they took back and did not make us wait. They made us feel like we are very important.
I recently went to see Dr. Wellens for an ingrown toenail and a bunion. She was very helpful and professional. She fixed my toenail problem and the bunion issue is still ongoing. Nurse crystal was also very helpful and pleasant. The office staff was also first class. I would definitely recommend Dr. Wellens (and staff) for any foot problems. Randy Ellis
I’m a 70 year old Runner who hurt my Achilles last year. With conventional surgery I would have been out a year. With the newer less invasive surgery Dr Wellens did, I was back running in 3 months. She and her staff are all knowledgeable and helpful, and because Dr Wellens is on top of new procedures, I would go back to her in a minute!
Dr Wellens-Bruschayt has helped me twice now with foot injuries. I credit her and her team with my speedy recoveries and recommend them to anyone needing help with foot and ankle issues!
