They could reimburse me for the many of my books they sold and have not given my any royalties. Their Secretary Kelly told me of hundreds of sales throughout the United States but I never received a dime.

In 2006 I wrote a book "I Like Pumpkins" by Dianne Helton in English, Spanish and Sign Language. It was published by Tate Publishers & Enterprises at the cost of $5,000. As I understood it, they would market the book for me, but they only gave me information how I could market it myself. I bought $2,000 dollars worth of books that I mostly gave away for free. My royalty checks came in quarterly at about $1 to $2 to $3, although one time I did get a $15 check. I just figured my book was a failure and I could understand, becau... read more

I am the Author of "** ***** ***** ********** ************* ******* *** ************ ***** ** ****". which I had published by Tate Publishing in September 2010. I have not received a royalty check since 2011. I had not known of the Embezzlement charges against Tate Publishing until recent. I had reached out several times to the contacts at Tate Publishing regarding any Royalties, but received NO response from them. My life had been busy with family and life changes therefore I had not been aggressively seeking an answer from... read more

Tate Publishing delivered everything they promised. I am a member of our local writers group in Texas and a published author with Tate. In addition, three other members of our writers group also successfully published their books with Tate Publishing. We have no complaints regarding the publishing process with Tate as the company/staff did a great job on all of our books. However, at this time, we need to order some books for a promotional we are doing. Unfortunately no one is available at the company to print an order or re... read more

I, too, am a Tate Publishing Author, and my experience with them was pleasant. I received what I ordered, but have several questions. One being, the concern of the royalty checks I received, and how we as authors can be compensated for what was actually sold. Although I don't understand all of it, and why things turned out this way, I choose to trust God that He's got this, and that Tate Publishing will do what's right, not only for the sake of its customer's (author's), but before God.

I had a book published by Tate in 2010...for some reason my book was assigned two ISBN numbers, one 10 digit and one 13 digit. My understanding is that no 10 digit numbers were used after Jan. 1, 2007. I did not start writing my book until Feb. 27, 2007. Why would Tate give one book two different ISBN numbers...one number was obviously assigned previously to an older book, since my book was not submitted to them until 2009. Were they hiding profits under the oldn ISBN number so they would not have to pay a thing to the autho... read more

Tate Publishing is the one of the most unethical companies around. An investigation by the Oklahoma AG and criminal charges against the Tates themselves prove it. Stay away from this company.
