Long time pediatricians I myself, (now 30, shhhh) used to go to Dr's Tan, Garcia and the since retired Percopio (sp?) so it was a no brainer that I take my son to their practice as well. He's now 16 months and has recently entered the world of Daycare and germ heaven. Wonderful I have been taking my son to Tan & Garcia since November 2007 and They are by far the best pediatricians in this area! I never have to wait very long 5 mins at the most, They are very open and honest and always try to give the best advice.
terrible Forget about the staff, the doctor is extremely unprofessional. We called him on an emergency, and he never called back. The next morning he said that he was asleep. Is this guy for real, he is supposed to be on call (either him or someone else) for any emergency. We live on Dr. Philips and we were happy to have a baby doc near by. I will drive to Miami to see another Doc rather than trust my baby to this guy.
Fantastic doctors Fantastic doctors....very patient and involved and take their time before giving a diagnosis. They promote more homeopathic treatments (saline nose sprays and probiotics) and are not so quick to prescribe antibiotics. Wonderful! I was even there once for an appointment for my son, and I had an inflamed eye, and Dr. Garcia asked me about it, checked it out for me and gave me free samples of allergy eye drops. Good people!! VERY UNHAPPY When I moved to PA... Tan And Garcia was the only pediatricians who had an open spot. I decided to go with them out of desperation. I have never been treated so rude in all my life by the office staff and by Dr. Garcia. I initially liked him but as time went on i began to feel so rushed and he almost seemed put out when ever i would ask questions i found him to be very cocky. for instance I have two baby boys. LOVE THEM!! We had initially been going to a family doctor, but when my second was born with a heart murmur (and the family doc said it was gone by the second day) I started going to Tan and Garcia. They heard the murmur even through the crying and have been absolutely on top of their game every time I've gone back. They are the ONLY ones in the area to promote taking probiotics along with antibiotics and using salt water in the nose to prevent ear infections (which has worked for over 4 years and even my husband uses it to ... read more
Terrific! I have only GREAT things to say about Tan & Garcia's group! My two children have gone there since birth and EVERYONE in the office has been amazing. One of my children had a minor emergency that required stitches and I called the office (at lunchtime). They not only took the time to walk me through what to do, but they went the extra mile and called the surgeon for me! They called me back to tell me to go straight to the surgeons office and my little guy got 8 stitches and we were home within an hour! TRULY AMAZING... read more
Top 3 onthe East Shore I agree with some other comments. I love Dr. Acharya and Dr. Tan. Dr. Garcia's daughter works there now and she is great also, she even called me herself to give me lab results! The office staff at the UD office is wonderful. Just wonderful. Even when I had a problem with my insurance and billing issues they were not rude and very understanding. They always have time to talk when you call in and would recommend anyone take their child there. I take my 5 children ages 1 - 6 there because the care is awe... read more
