Tacky Jacks is one of my fvaorite places in Orange Beach. Great food, great service, and the atmosphere is awesome.
We enjoyed our meal of shrimp and grits and my husband had half /half with grilled fish and fried shrimp! Our waitress was sweet! We had a nice view of the water in the cold weather! Ha
My friend and I had dinner with our ten year old boys. We ordered gumbo, shrimp and grits, and crab cakes. Excellent food and friendly wait staff. Worth the few minutes we waited for a table.
The food was great.Filled me up for the rest of the day.
Good Friday night fish and our waitress Pam was very nice and prompt will go back.
Service was excellent. I enjoyed the Seafood Trio my sister enjoyed the burger my wife didnt care for a spice in the tacky shrimp dish so they took it off the bill. Atmosphere was fun. Definitely will return next time we visit.
Great breakfast on a perfect morning sitting by the water watching the dolphins and boats! At another time shared the garbage nachos and fried dill pickles with my sis-in-law and they we great, too!
Upon arrival a couple of patrons tried to discourage me from going in. They cited service issues. It quickly became obvious that the crowd size was out of the ordinary for the day of the week/time of year and management simply couldn't foresee this anomaly. It turned out that the hostess was also our server. Once we were seated our drinks arrived quickly and we were checked on regularly for more. My daughter 36yo and husband came in over president's weekend and went to tacky Jacks Sunday around 9am sit by the water and service,food and Bloody Mary outstanding also for over 45 minutes we saw probably 5 doplins it was amazing. We have been 2 times and will go back again next week when more company come we like both tacky jacks but when it's sunny the original one to eat out doors.
