Sweet and Sassy needs to work on embracing diversity and not letting a single child feel like they don't belong because their hair or skin might be different. A friend of mine's daughter attended a birthday party where the "stylist" did not touch her child's hair even though a bit of "hair styling" was part of the package. RecommendedI can not recommend Courtney; the manager, more! She turned what could have been a bad situation around and made my girl feel like a princess for her 5th birthday! Thanks Courtney! You will never be forgotten! ☺️💜My oldest daughter also LOVED Ms. “Icecream”!!!

RecommendedMy kids decided to cut my daughters hair so we came in and were completely surprised to see what a wonderful little place this is! Taken back by all the girl stuff my son was happy to have a "BOYS ONLY" chair to get his hair done as well lol I definitely reccomend Sweet & Sassy for the best girl time pampering and boys haircuts. my kids LOVED this place! Also Balloon's and Lollipop's come with the haircuts so we all left extremely happy 😁 ...don't forget the glitter! lol
My cousin went to a birthday party there and the little girl's were in line waiting to get their hair done 🎉🎉 for the birthday celebration.. However, when it came to my cousin (who is African American) the hostess skipped my cousin. She claimed my cousin's hair was already in a ponytail. So they managed to do six other little girls hair hair but not hers!!! I asked the manager when was it ok to discriminate against a 3 year ago? I’ve known at some point I would have to educate my children about racism and experiences they may have. Never would I have believed I would need to do it to a 3 y/o. A staff member showed blatant racism to my niece. When an inquiry was made she was flippant in her response. So contact was made with the owner whose attitude was just as nonchalant. I would never recommend anyone of color spending a red cent in an establishment with such antiquated practices. Shame. Shame.
