I'm sure the sushi would have been good if I had stayed long enough to try it. But when my fiancé and I are the only people in the restaurant and the sushi chef is making 15+ plates of sushi for an already full conveyor belt I question their business strategy. Also none of the plates were labeled, so knowing what you were choosing was next to impossible. And for only rolls it was $17.50/person. No thank you. I know of other places I can get amazing sushi and pay less. So we said thank you very much, paid the $4 for our sodas... read more

Spectacular! Great service. Fun atmosphere. Their wasabi is top notch. I had five different rolls of the bar and every one was fabulous! They were super helpful with choosing our Suki tray. Loved it.

Watch out. They say that roll buffet is part of happy hour, but....if you order anything off the roll BUFFET that is already on there, then it is regular price. Just lost a customer that attempted to frequent your establishment 2-3 times a month.

Honestly I would've given this place 5 stars. I've been coming here consistently 3 times per month for the last year. The only 2 people that even bother to take the time to get to know/recognize me are Rina and Patrick. I purposely come here on weekends during lunch because Patrick and Rina are working. I skip weekends when I know Rina is out of town because the service is usually not that great. Case in point- I ordered 2 pieces of twisted tuna 10 minutes ago and have yet to receive it. Terrible. Shouldn't even be called sushi. Unidentifiable Mystery meat wrapped with rice and drenched in Saracha sauce. Asinine policy's around buffet that force everyone to get a buffet even if only one person wants it. Staff was rude, inattentive, and Uncompassionate. No nigiri, no selection of any consequence. Total waste of time and not worth the visit

My sister and I visited Sushi Envy in Texas and loved the concept, food and the employees. Wish there was a location in Charlotte NC!!!!

Have frequented this restaurant a lot over the last couple years and always enjoy the sushi. However I recently learned that they automatically assume all there customers are cheats and liars. I entered the restaurant at the same time as another party that I'm friends with. We requested separate checks and I wanted the buffet and they wanted per plate pricing. Went last night for the first time and the food wasn't that bad but was even more disappointed when we tried to order another roll at 940 and they told us the kitchen was closed. I asked why and they said well we had a rush earlier and the chef already left. What! You don't close til 10?? Plus the manager sounded extremely rude and loud talking to her employees. We could hear her talking from the kitchen when asked if we could order something. Unprofessional, store market quality food, and will not be returning back.
