Never Blue at Sushi Blues~~~ – I love this place! The sushi is great, and the atmosphere is laid back yet fun. Have been thinking about going back ever since my last visit!
Need another Sushi place on Glenwood – Have to give it to them, they have the market cornered. I am with the reviewer below. It is indeed the path of least resistance. This "sushi" gives me the blues! – I've been here a few times, and have been disappointed every time. (I like to give second and third chances...) Disgusted – I group of friends and I walked in, and we had to wait 15 minutes just to put our name on the list. We had no where to stand, but near the doorway, where we had to move every 2minutes for people to go in and out. we waited about 20 minutes to be served at the sushi bar, and we asked another waitress if we could sit at one of the tables, and she said sure. disappointing – Why does this place have such a high review? The sushi is not overly impressive, and neither is the tempura - which may as well have been labeled beer-battered. The service is really not that great either. The only plus for this place is that it is open late and it is the only place to get sushi downtown. But if you are a sushi fan, go to Waraji, Tokyo House, ShabaShabu,....or anywhere but here.
Garbage – awful sushi, slow service, it's kind of a rip off, unless your really worried about being trendy.
blah – I don't know what's the fuss over this restaurant was all about. I've been here several times with friends who wanted to come here for the atmosphere, which I think it's pretty hip but horrible locations, parking is horrible. The food wasn't even anything special, very average! The sushi were just plain AVERAGE, nothing awesome about it! I was pretty disappointed that sushi wasn't all that great (and not that attractive to look at either), I think there are other places that makes it just as great and well.
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! – The manager just wants your money, and having to wait about an hour for your food means nothing b/c he thinks he's got the best and nothing can bring him down. Go there on 1/2 off night and he thinks even less of you. He actually wants you to go somewhere else if you have a problem w/ the service. Since 1/2 off night means you're cheap, not that being in the center of three fairly large colleges, he probably wants us to stay at home.
We love Sushi Blues.... – Our company is located above Sushi Blues so in an average week our entire company eats there at least 3 times. We have never been served a meal that we didn't love. The staff have become great friends and we treat them that way. We bring out of town clients in all the time and they love the food and the friendly atmosphere.....and when Bruce Clark and BC3 plays blues once in awhile!!
