Member stated that she denied recertifying her long term disability because "all of her disabling injuries and issues are INVISIBLE." She needs training on invisible injuries and disabilities and compassion. The member stated that she is an acute care nurse practiioner/geriatrician.

I am not one to write reviews, but I want to share my experience. She was very judgy and I felt she didn't care about any of my concerns. I had a lot of joint pain in my fingers which was dismissed, and she didn't bother to look when I was in tears, but instead blamed it on my weight, which I am barely overweight to begin with. Years later after still suffering in pain I decided to switch doctors and got the care I deserved. Turns out I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, which has nothing to do with my weight. It's a shame to get di... read more

I have found Dr. Ritchey to be extremely thorough in his evaluations of my several serious problems. He is very caring and personable. He is not afraid to refer me to specialists when needed. I am recommending him to anyone who needs a primary dr. without any reservations. Don't hesitate visiting him.

I've been seeing Susan Shields for over 15 years, except when insurance wants to play games and change my primary care physician which is happening again! I have to fight to find a way to keep on seeing her, because they have assigned me to a new doctor. She is amazing and listens to my health concerns and takes matters seriously. And I never really want to go to someone else. So, until I get this figured out with the insurance, I probably won't....

My first visit I chronicled here. Very bad experience. Pay attention to the single-star reviews. The second visit went better. Dr. Ritchey listened to me and actually gave me almost 20 minutes of his time. Wow! The one thing is he printed out a referral for me to see a specialist, but failed to print the name of the clinic or sign the referral, so I will have to make a special trip to get a proper referral that the specialist will accept. Dr. Rithchy is retiring next year. Yeah!!!!!!

I thought PA Shields was amazing! She was attentive and listened to my medical history, working with me to figure out some treatment options. While I may not be the best patient interested in some of the recommendations, I appreciated her providing me with options rather than pushing me out the door or leaving me feeling unheard. I'd highly recommend her and I intend to continue using her as my primary care provider.

She dismissed my MRI showing a large pituitary either from birth or hyperplasia which can turn cancerous, forming tumors. She assumed I was born with it. I asked how if none of my previous scans showed this before. She got angry. "I'm just telling you what the report says." I can read, thanks, and what about hyperplasia? She refused to consider that. When I tried to ask questions or answer hers, she'd cut me off. I'm autistic and struggle to communicate verbally, by the way. She gaslighted me, saying that I'm "looking for th... read more

First issue I had to wait 30 minutes to see the doc despite being the only one in the waiting room and seeing him wandering around in the front office talking to his staff. Second BIG red flag when I did see him he said my insurance would only pay for him to see me for 30 minutes. Third he didn't allow me to go into any detail on any medical concern saying he had other patients and his time was too valuable despite my toes turning black from diabetes something he never commented on. All I got out of the visit was a referral ... read more
