INFERIOR EYE Care – After I made my glasses I asked them to send it by mail. I was waiting for the glasses for 2 weeks. I called him after that and asked him that I have never received them, he told me that the glasses were shipped from his store and he is not responsible on any problem after that!!! I am very upset that I didnt get any refund for my merchandise.
Do NOT go here – This place is a dump. The only contacts they have on site are generic and garbage. The dr. will creep you out.
Very disappointed – Their selection of frames was pretty good, but the customer service was unacceptable. I was told that it was my fault that I couldn't see through the glasses they made me. I have had glasses for my whole life and have never had such a bad experience
excellent a second time around – I came here for my glasses in 2006 and have come back to get my eyes checked as well as purchase some glasses. The doctor: They have a new docter named "Dr. Helen" she is super nice and very professional. It was really an enjoyable experience. The selection: WOW there is so much to choose from. Its like a treasure chest of frames, so it can be a bit overwhelming if you try to choose frames on your own. I recommend bringing a friend or having a sales person help you. Dont Guarantee lenses,if anything is wrong,to bad they dont refund or exchange for another pair!Said that the manufacturer dosen't make mistakes – They dont guarantee lenses,You can't return if the box is opened not even for an even exchange.But you are going to open the box to put on your lenses,so how would you know they aren't the proper fit,until you try them on.I had a pair that I took in and tried on in front of the Doctor,I couldnt even see,it wasn't sitting on my eye.I have ordered over 25 pair of contacts from them ... read more
Truly superior – I had a completely different experience than the other reviewer on this site. I found superior on a recommendation from a friend. I wear contacts and glasses, and found the doctor and salesman to be very helpful and kind. The prices were indeed great, and was reccomended a new brand of contacts that I ended up loving. Far Less Than Superior – The first time I went to Superior Eye care on Broadway I had a pretty bad experience. The eye doctor was rude and condescening. I wear both contacts and glasses and I was not told beforehand that I was to wear my contacts at the time of my appointment or that I "should have an extra pair in my purse at all times." Had a ball getting glasses! – I felt a little uneasy seeing all the negative responses about Superior Eye Care, but when I went there, I had a blast! The optomotrist was witty and sarcastic, and did a very thorough job. Even though I didn't have my prescription with me, he was able to figure it out from my old glasses. The customer service was great - I had a lot of help from Jack in picking what glasses would look best on me, and he was honest enough to tell me if I looked dorky. Very nice Glasses...and Contacts – Ok, so I walked into their store on Lincoln and I was immediately immersed in customer service from several professional eyewear saleswomen. They catered to my every need (pertaining to glasses) and made me see clearly and crisply. I didn't pay anything for my contacts, and was given a relativly good deal on the price because my insurance covered it all.
