Great visit. Excellent care. I only have one suggestion. I had made an appointment with Erin because my wife had appointments with her and I believe in the "family dentistry" concept meaning my wife and I would both have the same dentist and hygienist. When I got to my appointment I was told that someone else would be seeing me. It turns out she was great but my suggestion is that if the person with whom I have an appointment is not available I should be contacted and given the option of rescheduling.

In the past, I have paid my deductible of $25 under my husband's Blue Cross Federal Insurance program. Summit Dental has then submitted to the insurance company the bill, and I have paid what ever remaining balance is due. After my visit yesterday I was told I had to pay the full amount, something that I was not anticipating. The young woman explained to me that the service I received was not covered by the plan. I have been seeing Dr. Pierce and his staff for several decades now and I don't plan on changing since I receive such wonderful care and service each and every time I go in for whatever reason. I cannot say enough about the concern the staff has for my well being and Leslie is always so thoughtful and caring when working with me. She is a real asset to the office and a great team player. I cannot think of anything that could be done to improve your services at this time as I think they are great already.

I have been a Summit patient for so many years and I'm always greeted like I'm family. My entire family goes to Summit too. I appreciate the care and personal touch (and humor) and I refer anyone who asks about dental care.

Gone are the days of the stale dentist's office with the smell of clove oil, piercing drill and the grumpy receptionist. Summit dental is actually a fun place to visit. The staff is friendly and charismatic and that lowers my anxiety level. I still get tense, don't get me wrong, but it's a tension with a smile.
