I bought a Summit Electric Range CLRE24. When the oven is on, hot air blows out the front!!! I called tech services and they said that was normal, and if I didn't like it, I could send it back. Not that easy considering I had an electrician install it and I live on the third floor. So weird! One would have liked to be warned if the oven operated differently from every other oven I've owned. Blows hot air out the front? REally?

We purchased six Summit commercial beverage vendor upright glass door refrigerators eight years ago. As of today, six of the eight have failed. The first compressor failed before the 5-year parts warranty and it was 'pulling teeth' to get the company to send us a new compressor under warranty. The second fail less than 6 months later, now out of warranty, and the company's response was pretty much "too bad". So, nice looking units at a good price, but do not expect them to last very long.

I have had a horrible time with the warranty on our Summit refrigerator/freezer. When we hooked it up it showed an E7 error. Per the internet, that's a door switch issue. I made the claim back on 12/18/18. They said they'd have someone out in 48-72 hours. However, they didn't come out until 1/3/19. The repair guy said they didn't have the door switch (although Summit told me they sent the parts when I talked to them on the 22nd) and it will be another 5-7 days to get them in and then they will have to reschedule me. I bought a wall oven discovering on arrival that the broiler door was misaligned. I contacted customer service via Email asking a simple question. "Can you tell me if the hinge assembly is adjustable or not? If it is, I'm willing to do the adjustment myself" "Maybe you can forward a drawing?" I thought I would ask before removing parts unnecessarily.
