I'd like to underline something: Summerlin Hospital is not a hopeless hospital. However, lately, I don't know if It's the luck of the draw or something; I can't seem to get good help at the Emergency room. The nurses are usually pretty good at helping. A bit of background: I have Sickle Cell disease. I know about the "jacket" we are forced to wear, as in a lot of health professionals see us as "drug seekers". I am not. RecommendedHad my reconstruction surgery from having breast cancer with breast implants done on Tuesday June 9th! Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. My Pre-Op Nurse Gina( GG) was so nice to my surgical Nurse Michelle and my Post Op Nurse... sorry her name is not mentioned because at that time I was groggy and medicated. What wonderful, caring doctors, nurses, staff. Heart cath today, a few problems but the entire staff could not have been more caring. Sorry I forgot the names of the ones in the cath lab, they were great! Special thanks nurse Pinky!

considerate of all patients
I took my husband there yesterday morning he got in a bed around 11-11:30 took numerous pokes to get lines in because he was severely dehydrated he didn't even get an IV until around 3pm . They released him from that room around 4pm to walk out on his own in the same condition he went in there for he could barely walk when I picked him up he was sitting outside on a cold hard bench and barely able to sit up straight. The doctor and nurses should be ashamed of their selves for this type of treatment. Please people if you care... read more
Went to the er. They were very busy but even with that were very efficient and kind. Was admitted. The nurses were all very nice, compassionate and took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. Especially Cami.
They are absolutely shocking. No compassion for patients. Nurses are rude and doctors don’t care. Big corporations with greed - shame on you !
I would recommend this hospital to anyone who wants to survive covid. I was there for a week and the staff was perfect. the doctors made sure I was taken care of although I was uncooperative patient they didn't give upon me.
