This vet has been absolutely wonderful! We looked into ear cropping when we first got our American Bully and after several weeks of research and talking it over, we decided to do it and after several more days of research ended up at this vet office! We drove over an hour and half, had his pre-op bloodwork done and they ended up having an opening for surgery so we left him overnight for surgery the next day, picked up him the day after surgery and he looks amazing! This is your “other” family doctor. I can’t say enough good things about the people here and the place! The entire staff is extremely helpful and friendly. A year ago I had to put my sweet 10 year old dachshund down Bentley - we did breathing treatments we did the whole 9 yards and they were there for me every step of the way to help. This is the best Vet you could go to even if ur dog is old or whatever animal you may have my dog has a chronic ear problems so she needs to get her ears cleaned really good once a month, which I can never do at home so I take her to the Vet to get it don the vet tech was very nice and very understanding how my dog is since she is deaf and has separation anxiety at times and the Veterinarian Doctor Amy was even more understanding about how my dog is and took very good care or her ears I'm impressed and definitely coming back... read more
From my first time calling to get information about ear cropping and routine vet care up until the day of my appointment for my babies the customers service was amazing no question was left unanswered. I can feel safe to say I have found a new vet home for my babies at Dogwood Animart Hospital.
Dr. Ray Caughman and his team are terrific. They are knowledgeable, compassionate, and very patient with pets and pet 'parents'. I would highly recommend Dogwood Animal Hospital to anyone whose pets are 'family'.
Everyone here treats our fur babies as family and Dr Caughman is a great vet. Highly recommend them.
