I was charged $2.79 for an ice water from the fountain. I told the cashier that he charged me for a soda, not a water, and he said that the charge is the same because I'm paying for the cup. Some places may charge $0.50 for a cup, but I've never been charged for a fountain drink if I get water. If that's Subway's policy, they should tell their customers this up front, because typically water is complimentary. This is really sleezy. I hope the $2.79 for that cup was worth it, Subway. You've lost a repeat customer.
After a 16-hour drive, this was exactly what we needed. I ordered the Meal of the Day, the Spicy Italian, and it was amazing. While ordering, I noticed the cheese slices weren't cut into triangles anymore, so I asked the employee about it. He told me Subway had changed that about a year ago. The food is good however the service sucked when its lunch time u should have more workers so no one has to wait for 25 mins for their food in the drive through
