The doctor was nice and I hoped to achieve freedom from my discomfort. I paid $2500 for treatment. Went a handful of times the appointments are very short and the office ended up closing permanently. I don’t know what to do now.

Collects payment, of $49.00 to do initial assessment. Which is a lot of taaaalking his speel . Never did get an actual treatment. Wants patient to prepay $2500-$4000. Is what I was quoted for 2 months of treatment. And never even received a treatment to know if it would work. That’s a crazy way to do business. Makes me think that he doesn’t care about the patient. Dr. Slagel and the team were very kind and professional. I had severe TMJ/D symptoms and heard that this approach can help. I wouldn't have minded dabbling in this approach to explore if it would help but I minded because the cost was a huge lump sum upfront (they were very clear about the cost, no surprises came up there). I just never felt any symptom relief from the treatment. I wish so much that I could have paid per session and would have given it a bunch to try. In the office, the staff and the doctor are very kind people, but the truth is that I went in search of a solution to my chronic pain in my neck, tendons and muscles. I paid the full cost of the treatment that they asked me for in advance for a treatment that unfortunately I do not see the improvement, the therapies last exactly 15 minutes, sometimes less, and it is one per week, which does not help at all, it is unfortunate because I had a lot of faith in him and believed in the treatment, which did not work.
