Enjoy a little piece of Pan-Fried history when you dine at Stroud's! The year was 1933. Prohibition had just been repealed, we were between two World Wars and Stroud's Restaurant was built. Stroud's started as a BBQ restaurant by Guy and Helen Stroud on the county line at 85th and Troost. The road house remained a BBQ restaurant until World War II. We just had a party of 17 for my mothers 93rd birthday. When we got there we asked to change our table, which they got right on ... We had the best waitress ever Elaine. She was spot on, she had a system that worked great. Everyone got their order, nothing was missed, she was on spot on the entire time we were. Not to mention the food was awesome ... Highly recommend Stroud's in Fairway, KS. Staff, Food and Atmosphere was AWESOME

Hubs and I ate at Strouds South today(felt like cheaters as we usually go north) Elaine was fabulous server and although very busy, took excellent care of us! Thanks Elaine for a great dining experience! Rich & Annie

We had an amazing experience eating here this evening with a large group for my grandma’s birthday. The food was hot and delicious, and came out exactly how we ordered it. Elaine took great care of us, we really enjoyed how on top of our every need!!! Definitely if you go ask if she’s working.

Came in for dinner yesterday evening and had a terrific meal. What was even better was the waitress named Elaine. What an outstanding job this young lady did, she is on top of her game. Highly recommended
