Horrid. Brought my elderly Aunt to emergency per her DR's orders, the parking attendant hid so to avoid helping my aunt get into a wheelchair and get inside. They then refused me parking in the emergency parking area because I drove my aunt and my aunt didn't drive herself...Wtf??!!?? Then , the check in process, where we waited and watched as at least 5-6 capable attendants felt it was a priority to shoot the breeze and talk amongst themselves instead of checking patients in. Superb care - as you would expect from a large university teaching hospital.
Four hours and counting and I'm sitting in a hallway and no one has given any indication I exist. If I could walk right now I'd be leaving.
During the most difficult time in our lives I cannot express how kind caring and compassionate each time that took care of my husband was, They did so much for us up til the end. One thing I did find out is that our community, does not donate organs. we may be losing a love one and that breaks us but we also have the opportunity to let a little bit of them live on. Please say yes and they will do everything else for you
