RecommendedJust want to shout out that the whole process of my husbands hip replacement has been beyond exemplary, from the classes before hand to the follow up after discharge. we have nothing but kudos's for all involved. when was the last time a nurse offered to bring coffee to you at 5 am? they did! Thanks to floor 6E nurses and staff. job very well done! After coming from the buffalo area hospitals this was such a refreshing experience.
RecommendedYes & No - The surgery and care I had was very good. However their Billing Department has made a nightmare of my life. Surgery was because of an auto accident. Kid on phone ran red light and t-boned me. Instead of billing Allstate (they are terrible also) they billed Excellus and Medicare and made a complete mess of everything. Of course Allstate was thrilled and said they wouldn't pay for anything since it was paid for already. First received $22,000.00 bill from HH and an envelope to enclose my check. Right!! They took time to listen to me and made me feel as comfortable as could be. 2 hours from check in to discharge. They are a group of very caring and skilled health care professionals! Yes, even with me as a patient!
