Beware!!! I tried getting a refinance loan from Strong and spent weeks generating more and more details about my financials. Every day it was a new request. Then it took days to confirm that that information was not enough and they needed more. They wanted my prior year tax return, then the previous, then the previous. They wanted proof that my W2 income came from my employer. Never heard of that before. My income ties directly to my pay stub, W2 and my tax return. Excellent service by Marcus. He was very responsive and kept us informed of all aspects of the process. He made sure that we and our agent knew everything needed to keep the process moving as smoothly as possible. I will definitely consider Strong Home Mortgage in the future.

Just refinanced with strong home & received an amazing rate! Locked it in. Documents were signed and the check was received as promised. Very professional company. Have already recommended two close family members to also refinance through them. Process was a breeze. Highly recommended!

I would like to leave 0 stars. I started this mortgage process on June 30th with Adam H*********** at Strong. I completed every request for documents and information typically within hours of email request or within a day at the latest. I continuously requested confirmation of my information being received. For the past 4 weeks I have requested that an appraiser contact me, give me some type of timeline, or some feedback. The demand for appraisals has created extended delivery times in some markets. Despite the market challenges, we are looking for ways to improve our customer experience and set proper expectations.
By far, the best loan officer with whom we've ever dealt -- we try to find Grady above all else, because we know that he always has the customer's best interests at heart
Double check the fine print! I had my appraisal fee change 4 times (including after I paid for it) from start to getting it ordered. Ranged from $650-$1,400. Ultimately I backed out of the deal as I didn't feel Strong Home Mortgage was trustworthy. Attention to detail!
