What an amazing and beautiful hotel! It was a tourist attraction all on its own! Beautiful wood work and antiques to just walk around and look at!! Great staff as well.. Very helpful on local activities!
Have a bit of family history at the hotel. My grandpa was a chef there in the early 1900's. Personally visited many times before moving to Durango in 1993. Love the melodramas in the summer. Tours, Diamond Belle Saloon, special dinners on holidays ,a drop in lunch, so much more. A bucket list wish would be to stay in the Louis Lamour room on a Snowdown Parade night. So proud of our beautiful famous hotel.

Great choice for us on our first visit to Durango.
I stayed there for 4 nights and am taking my family back this month. I loved the hotel, loved reading the stories and talking to the staff. Now that I read other's reviews I want to discover more!
