Went in to the er with my two year old daughter who had busted her lip open only to be told as they were taking her back that I needed to either change my shirt or leave by a security officer. I was not aware of a dress code to be seen a Dr. I have been present in the er several time when patient have been yelling at staff and there not told you have to leave

I had a planned cesarean delivery here. The nurses were so kind and helpful. They knew what I needed before I did. And the breastfeeding clinic is amazing. I can't express how well I was taken care of here.
My husband had quadruple bypass surgery in June 2015. They were so accommodating to me as we live so far and I did not want to drive home everyday. Even when he had AFIB and they kept him several days longer they were so nice and put up with my husband as he got more disagreeable with the needles and blood draws. I just had surgery at Stormont Vail on Friday, my first overnight stay in a hospital. The staff was friendly, empathic, and knowledgeable. They worked hard to get my pain under control and checked on me frequently. Best hospital in the area!
I rarely write reviews. This might be the first in years and it's also 10 months after my daughter was born there. That's how much the experience still weighs in on my mind. My mom has worked at Stormont for more than 10 years in the offices. I volunteered there when I was in middle and high school. Do you serve Osage County or not? My Cotton Oneil Doctor left the state but now doctors here will take no new patients. Don't need patients like me (human) I guess.

The staff was wonderful. I wish check out was a bit faster, but my experience was good. The nurses and lab staff were awesome.
My wife has been seeing a nero doctor for sometime now and 5 years ago she had a MRI showed a normal brain. Than after 5 years her seizure disorder came back and has affected her short term memory, tremors have got worse. And all this dr did has referred her to Stormont west cuz it may be psychological. The last MRI shOWED 6 white legions on her brain and he wont even do a simple blood test or spinal tap to test for MS. Instead he gave up and referred her to KU med at first now to ST.FRANCIS.
