Got transferred here a couple days ago for a extremely bad infection that spread to my skull . The nursing staff on both floors I've been on have been amazing and so caring and on top of my needs . My only complaint is I've been here today will be day 3 and I have yet to see or meet my doctor face to face or even talk to him . I was brought here for surgery and this doctor is in my eyes neglectful but I could be wrong . Idk . I had a rare, giant tumor removed within one month of diagnosis. As a single mother of six, I was incredibly well taken care of, respected and listened to. The surgeons and staff were above anything I could ever have hoped for. They kept my family well informed and were present for every step of my hospital recovery. I highly recommend Stormont Veil and Dr. Tutuska (cardio-vascular/thoracic surgeon) if life hands you such a reason to need them. I am forever in your debt.
I've been a lot of hospitals over the years and I can say this was the very best I've been in. The staff is very organized , professional and personable. Extended hospital staff was ready to assist me with everything I needed from my bill to aftercare. The food dept. was very efficient and friendly. And the food was good!
I think this is an outstanding facility. The doctors and nurses are amazing they make you feel welcome and at ease. They take very good care of you as a patient and the make the family members feel welcome. They keep you informed on whats going on.
I went to the drive-thru flu shot clinic. It was easy and no lines. And they didn't even hurt me when they stuck me
My husband went to emergency room for we think a seizure. They took many tests even tho we told them we had no insurance . The care was reasonable . People were nice. My problem is that we are,below the poverty line. We applied for their assistance program but were denied by who we don't,know. Whoever makes these decisions is clearly heartless.
