I admitted myself to the ER on my birthday for abdominal pain and they quickly found I had an appendixidus. Out of all the interactions from the ER to the OR to Post op not a single person was rude and I was absolutely amazed how caring and sensitive all the doctors and nurses were. I felt like I was in great hands from start to finish. I wish I could go back and thank everyone of them that helped take care of me!!
The doctors and nurses are great. The billing department, not so much. I had a claim denied for a lab test back in August 2016 following a surgery. SV billing department assured me they would resubmit the claim with appropriate documentation. In March 2017 after calling the billing department I discovered they never resubmitted the claim. I had an incident with the hospital and wasn't a fan of stormont but Sophia in billing is the most amazing lady! Very sweet and helpful, I really appreciate her and believe she needs some recognition on how wonderful she is doing!
